Our Logo

Our logo is a stylised image of a photograph of a section of Panel 10 and 11 of the Cambrai Memorial in Louverval, France.  This section of the panel commemorates 5708 Rifleman Frederick William Willis, 11th Battalion, Rifle Brigade who was killed in action on 20 November 1917, and who was the great uncle of For the Fallen’s webmaster.

The original image on which our logo is based was taken by Andy Pay who retains copyright of that image.  We are grateful to Mr Pay for his kind permission to base our logo on that image and to make the original image available on For the Fallen.
