British and Commonwealth War Memorials
and War Graves
These pages commemorate those British and Commonwealth service personnel who laid down their lives for their countries.
To make our War Memorials listings as comprehensive as possible, we have included dedicated pages for memorials for which we have either photographs or the names of those commemorated. We have also included links to existing War Memorial web sites and to other sites commemorating those who fell in the service of their countries. A list of War Memorials for which a dedicated page exists on For the Fallen can be found here or by using the Memorial Pages link on the left.
We have also included a section for British and Commonwealth War Graves in the United Kingdom and around the world.
We would like to sincerely thank those who have kindly contributed War Memorial and War Grave information for publication on For the Fallen.
If you wish to support us in this way, we very much welcome vintage or modern photographs of War Memorials and lists of those commemorated, and photographs of individual war graves. If you know of an established War Memorial site to which we can link please let us know.
.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them
