British Admiralty Memorial
Naissar, Estonia

 

(Crimean War)

 

 

The transcription given below was taken from the original Memorial, which was in poor condition in 2000.  The Memorial was subsequently refurbished and was re-dedicated in July 2001.   The wording on the refurbished Memorial is identical to that on the original with the following exceptions:

 

1.  spelling of “Crecy” changed to “Cressy”.

 

2.  “the cemetery” changed to “this cemetery”.

 

 

 

This Memorial was erected by the British Admiralty in memory of

Who died in the years 1854 and 1855 and are buried
